There’s a lot going on. I try to pick a subject to comment on but sometimes there is just so much happening that it is difficult. So, I am going to speak on a number of things.
First, Kim Jong Un, part-time stand-in for the Pillsbury doughboy and dictator of North Korea. He is obviously a nut case with a death wish, but he also seems to have a death wish for his entire country. His people are scared of him because he is so erratic. Lil Kim is the only overweight individual in North Korea who lives a fantasy life at the expense of his own people. In North Korea, grass is considered a vegetable. Meat is the occasional dog who stumbles by. It is a desperate country with desperate people. He is begging for the world to take him out and he may very soon get his wish. Such an erratic moron is too dangerous to be ignored.
Why would anybody travel to that God forsaken place? There are currently four people being held for ransom by the North Koreans since they just killed their last hostage. It is just a matter of time for those four.
Next on my list of strangeness is the media’s unbelievable disrespect for our duly elected President. I heard that if Trump discovered a cure for cancer, the media would criticize him for putting researchers out of work. Their unbounded hatred for Trump is creating a situation which is rapidly rendering the media worthless at least and at worse, probably dangerous. The President’s approval ratings are headed up and the media’s are going into the toilet. The media seems to forget that the election is over and their anointed Queen had her derriere handed to her. To use the lib’s own phrase, we need to move on.
Then we have these twenty-four liberal Democrat Congress people who are trying to figure out a way to impeach the President using the twenty-fifth amendment to the Constitution. Read the amendment. These idiots have nothing and their little stunt is going nowhere. I have long thought we need to have IQ tests for incoming Congress people. If we did, many of the sitting members would have to find new jobs. If you looked at the districts they represent, you might get a better idea of the real problem.
Mark Zuckerburg of Facebook believes we should all have a “minimum annual income” guaranteed by the government. He seems to think that such a policy would lift people out of poverty. Sure it would, for about two weeks. That’s about how long it would take for all that money to land in the hands of a few smart entrepreneurs, fleece artists, and drug dealers. Sorry, Mark. In a free society we must earn our living. Government welfare is a joke destroying millions of lives in this country already. Adding more money to the fire would just exacerbate the situation
I believe in healthy debate. I believe in the right to disagree. Our first amendment gives us the right of free speech. I use that right every week when I prepare this column. But, I also believe in loyalty to our country. What used to be the “loyal opposition” has become the disloyal resistance. They are America haters who prefer socialism to capitalism. Travel to Greece, or even to Venezuela. See how your socialism really works. See what happens when you, as Margaret Thatcher once said, run out of other people’s money. These countries could soon be taken over by their neighbors because they are failures.
As you can see, there is a lot to talk about. I will spare you any more of my ranting until next week.
